Battle for supremacy


With two wins in their kitty, the Kolkata Knight riders and the Chennai Super Kings would battle for supremacy in their third league match of the IPL Twenty20 cricket tournament on Saturday.

Sourav Ganguly-led Kolkata Knight Riders, leaders of the points table in the ongoing IPL Twenty-20 cricket tournament so far, have a slight edge in the bowling attack but Chennai Super Kings, with solid batting line up, would not give up easily since being desperate to reach the top of the table.

So far, Kolkata team had a better run rate having secured (+) 3.774 ratio as compared to the hosts (+) 0.975 and another factor that weigh in the visitors' favour is the balance of the team.
